My Backyard Sports officially awards two franchise terrritories in Nassau County, New York to Ralph Serzo, Jr on March 24, 2022.
After graduating from the University of Maryland, Ralph worked in the Information Technology consulting industry for 20 years, building networks, managing customers, and running business operations. Delivering exceptional service and managing high-performing teams has always been a driving force in Ralph’s professional career.
In his youth, Ralph’s father introduced him to the New York Yankees and baseball, creating a special bond between the two. With My Backyard Sports, Ralph is able to channel his passion for sports while relying on his experience in customer service and business operations that will bring happiness and one-of-a-kind experiences to the Nassau County community.
“Our love of sports, family, community, and team-work makes working with MBS a dream come true. We are looking forward to inspiring families and athletes to play hard and always be their best!” says Ralph. He added, “growing up, I dreamed of playing first base for the New York Yankees like my idol Don Mattingly. Even though I never made it to the big leagues (or anywhere close!), the dream lives on through My Backyard Sports, where I am able to champion my love of sports to enrich and inspire families and communities. The most rewarding factor is that I am able to work in the communities where I played sports growing up, which I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to do.”
